UCIEP - University and College English Language Programs


UCIEP is an independent consortium of university and college-administered English language programs in the United States and its territories. Members of UCIEP are dedicated to providing high quality academic English language instruction and cultural orientation to international students studying at higher education institutions in the United States.

  • Associate Membership is the initial membership type for all new members with the goal being Full Membership. Associate Members are given a maximum of three years to meet all of the UCIEP Guidelines. Associate Members have access to UCIEP's members and its online Member's Area with all its past resources. 
  • Full Membership is the goal for all. After an Associate Member meets all of the UCIEP guidelines, a site visit is conducted, and they become Full Members.  Full Members continue to have the same access to resources, and their institutional profile is made public through UCIEP's Member Directory.
